SB on the 1. CHP was on the OPPOSITE side of the freeway. Said he clocked me going 86. I had increased my speed to pass a truck that was swerving a bit and freaking me out, but there's no way he could clock my speed accurately from the opposite direction with other traffic around me.

That sucks... I know what you mean, though. Sometimes trucks don't stay in their lane so I speed up to pass them.

No, you can ask the Judge for traffic school if you lose.


My only ticket was in Ventura County so I did a trial by declaration(mail) then lost that so I submitted paperwork for a trial de novo(asking them to throw out the mail trial and give me a real one). Then lost the real one and in court I just asked the Judge for traffic school and he granted it to me.

Friend wants to do some DIY oil change videos but kind of hard to film it correctly unless you have a car lift.

Yeah this friend usually goes to San Diego to the Military Base to borrow their lift but I really don't wanna drive to San Diego for an oil change since my car will be one of the ones he will do a video DIY for lol.

I just picked up a bottle of Yamazaki 12 year



I've been reading a lot about this and the 18 year (harder to find) and noticed that they have the 12 year at Bevmo so I couldn't pass it up.

I am really impressed with this whisky. Great aroma, flavor, goes down wonderfully (neat of course, no ice), no burn, etc... I can go on and on.

I'm a happy camper.

postpone it for as long as you can. Then do written TBD. If it's ventura county you can check the docket online to see what's going on. One time my friend and I got a ticket same day. We did the postponing and TBD then still found guilty and chose to appear in court. We found out that his cop wasn't going to show and mine was (most likely). He got his money back and I got f*cked.

No, you can ask the judge for traffic school. Try to get an extension on line, and make sure the officer is not there on the day of the trial (the best!) then you dont even need to in the trial, the judge automatically dismisses you. To be honest with you, it takes a miracle to out-argue a cop. In perhaps all cases, even when the cop is talking out of his ass, the judge usually comes in and saves the day for them.
