Beautiful! Just really nice all the way around.
Care to comment on what is going on with that bearing shell 4th from top on left? Looks severely gauged viewing on my phone.

Honestly not sure what the heck happened there, super low miles, car probably sat for a while. When we dropped the pan we didn't see anything strange. I agree that was a bit of a shock especially that its a 13 with lowwwww mileage.

Almost looks like a particle got under the bearing but not sure how that would be possible with the 0.000000000000001 clearance or whatever they are.

Nice. I've got the same stop tech set up. I would love to do the ohlins suspension. No need for the supercharger. Car is plenty fast.

That is a low mileage, indeed! Thanks for sharing.
Do you use the new BE style bearing for the service? Have you done any follow up service on those and are they holding up better?
Sorry for all of the questions but I'm still considering getting a used E92 and this give me pause.

To be honest when looking for one, just budget the few grand into your purchase price. It's something I thought about as well and just get it in your head that it's the first thing you'll do. After that it's stress free driving

I had mine done by MRF Engineering in Socal. He told me that one of his customer tracks his car and replaces that bearings at the end of every season. He has found no wear on the bearings that he takes out. Again this is a car that is tracked. I used the VAC Motorsports bearings.

The guys at VAC told me that basically what that did was make a bearing that had a little more clearance.

We went with the WPC treated OEM bearings. We've used all the different brands over the years, but after long deliberation and homework, we've decided on using the WPC treated ones. There's a handful of bearing options out there, depending on who you talk to will vary in recommendation. We also install the others brands if customers choose to do so.
