Drip and Sizzle After Parking

Had an interesting sound this morning and want to just check in with the forum.

I drove the whole time with the top down and AC off, 40 miles out with cruise control set at around 80 mph, stopped for about 30 minutes, then drove home 40 miles with the cruise control around 80 mph.

When I pulled in to the garage and stopped the car I did NOT hear dripping but I could hear liquid hitting some hot bits and sizzling as if on a frying pan. I didn't notice a smell and it seemed to dissipate such that I walked away from the car because it had "stopped" according to my patience limiter.

It was the morning so definitely not the hottest weather I've driven in and I had it in D so it wasn't a high-revving "M drive" excursion.

It might be nothing and I'll have to see if it happens again but if it does happen again I would appreciate some ideas to have in my back pocket to look for anything and report back.

probably the ac evaporator draining onto hot exhaust. completely normal
