Dinan diff, BPM tune, exhaust. BMW left a lot of untapped potential. I like sound and power. Windows down, radio off!

What’re the benefits of the dinan diff? I may want more power via a tune later on, but honestly coming from a more powerful N/A v8 the s65 is in a sweet spot stock.

^ It's just a gear change, common swaps are 3.45 or 3.62 for DCT, or 4.10 for a 6MT. I'd like a 3.45 someday.
You won't get noticeable power from just a tune, but they are a modest improvement. |

The gear ratio change lets you put the power to the pavement quicker and makes the S65's relatively low torque less noticeable. Faster off the line and more satisfying to drive

I also have OS Giken LSD and a 3.45 FD. Both are great mods and made the car much more frantic/fun and confident at the same time. But they are expensive.

Drexler GT4 LSD 4.44 for M/T car, expensive but worth when most time city driving.
One of the less pricing my favorite mod is activating BBK option via Protool. I have STD brakes but pedal feeling is great. |

Any regrets on 4.44 for a street driven car? Would love to hear more thoughts on it. Thanks!

Corsa exhaust is the single mod I couldn’t imagine owning a blank slate m3 without adding.

I'll add one more:
Dustless Akebono brake pads for the street. Having clean wheels every day without effort is wonderful. |

I just put these in earlier this year, and life is good. I wish the pedal was a bit firmer, but I haven't noticed a difference in braking performance vs. stock pads. They did exhibit a bit of fade after ~2 laps at the Hockenheimring though..
