I haven't gotten around to getting these put in. They've been in the box in my trunk since I got them. Hopefully I'll get them installed with brakes next week.

Do 4 pipes. Trust me. I just got test pipes and 4K RPM + is epic. Driving around town and under 4K sounds great and not loud at all. No drone either.

Gosh , really ?? Is it that much difference ? 2 pipe vs 4 pipe ? It is a daily driver ... still debating ...

I daily mine. If you're already opening up the muffler do all 4 pipes and make sure all the stuff inside (I think it's fiberglass) goes back in. I enjoyed it and sound didn't change much with test pipes under 4K RPM.

Rogue Engineering has great test pipes for $250 i think.

Did you update software with test pipes ? Any lights coming up on dashboard ?

Haven't updated anything but I use Carly to clear the SES. Takes less than a minute. Eventually I'll get it coded out.

...the Magnaflow logo is etched onto the top of the tips, but my shop welds them on upside down so it's not seen. Due to the tips being a straight cut design, it doesn't matter. Unless you're under the car you wouldn't ever notice.

I bought these set(part 35125), they are short 4.5 inches in length so I am returning these and I am getting part # 35123 which are 7.5 inches in length...

Crap. That stinks. Mine have been sitting in the box in the trunk for months.

I would think any shop could weld another 3" of stainless pipe on each tip and make it look nice. Thoughts?

I am sure some kind of adapter/extension can be added , but sure the longer tip is the way to go ... I will just return the ones I have and order the right ones ...

I think it could be worked out but I rather go with the longer ones since I will somehow fit a diffuser there ...

Here is the finish product , could not be happier , 2 center tips are flush with diffuser and the outer ones slightly shorter as factory ...
decided to keep the original color instead of mate black ...

Yours Looks great! I recommend test pipes. Doesn't add noise below 4K. After 4K it screams!
