Hey everyone,

I currently have a macht schnell catless x pipe and active autowerke axleback. The AA axleback is too boomy/bassy at lower rpms (<2.5k rpm) for me so I’m looking for a different axleback system that sounds good but isn’t bassy at low RPMs. My choices I’ve come to are:

Super sprint - $1,500. Seems good but can’t find too many first hand reviews on this system

2 pipe mod on OEM system - can’t seem to find too many reviews on the 2 pipe + catless x pipe.

Corsa - this is what I want but at $2,600 it’s out of my price range
The turner system is $1,200 and valved but seems to have issues so it’s out for me.

Anyone have first hand experience with supersprint or the 2 pipe mod + catless x pipe, or any other recommendations for a reasonable axleback?

I wont lie, I had the agency/ megan racing exhaust for $400 when I first got this car like 6 years ago with a catless x pipe. It sounded fine for what it was, very entertaining.

I am firmly against the two pipe mod.

i personally wouldn't run a 2/4pipe mod anymore, its just too heavy and as great as it sounds, for $350 you can buy a megan used somewhere.

i personally loved my E-Race... wish i never got rid of it lol

I also am not an avid fan of Valved exhaust.. glorified straight pipes.. not worth the money unless its, Fi, Armytrix, Kreissieg, MEISTERSCHAFT.. those at least have their own unique sound when valves are open..

everything else from tuner to Alibaba is just... generally tasteless and ass.

Meisterschaft.

Just pick up a used one.

I've had 2 pipe, 2.5 pipe, Amuse Titanium, Borla ATAK and Meisterschaft GT. Meisterschaft GT probably cost me the most and doesn't have the weight savings of the Amuse or Borla but it just has a unique sound like mentioned above.

My X-Pipe is a 100 cell HFC + Quad Resonator.s

I have a Supersprint Race system with primary cat delete. On the outside it sounds similar to an Eisenmann Race, minus the throaty rasp. On the inside, around 2k rpm it can be a little boomy if you're in 6th or 7th gear. If you can swing it, go for the F1 Race.

Stay away from valved exhausts. They all loose tq and hp. They are also either dead quiet or like someone else put it, a glorified straight pipe. They have no decent mid tone sounds.
