E93 M3 - Dinan Exhaust (rear section) Questions

Hi All,

I have the Dinan Exhaust rear section on my E93 M3 and have no complaints about its sound or ability but something that annoys me is the "length" of the exhaust, or the way the tail pipes sit inside the bumper...

I have tried to adjust, but it seems that i will have to get some welding done to extend the tail pieces to protrude instead of tuck! See pics:

So, i have a question...

Has anyone removed and re-welded tailpieces onto the Dinan muffler successfully? Any special tricks to note, normal welding?

Any suggestions to extend the tailpieces so they sit just pass the diffuser, showing the DINAN logo?

Appreciate your help.

Arbee

Are you sure you have fitted the E92/E93 exhaust and not the E90 version? The E90 is shorter.

Pretty sure you have the shorter e90 version, mine look alot longer and they stick out a good amount past the bumper

That is an E90 length Dinan muffler. The tips are much shorter and you will notice that tuck even more with an diffuser.

the carbonfiber diffuser make this feeling. it's actually simple. you need some welding company, that will extend for you the exhaust pipe. dont need to be exhaust shop, of you want to safe money. let them extend the pipes, that's it. your tips are removable or fit straight to the muffler?

Diffuser is staying...

Will check the part numbers if i can find any. I bought the car with the Dinan and Diffuser.

Best option, will be to get an exhaust shop to check it out.

Thanks for the replies!
