Been contemplating the same and think I've decided on KW height adjustable springs.
They are a little more expensive than just a straight spring setup. But the ability to adjust the height for front/rear and get it set exactly where you want it is worth the extra cost IMO. The idea of spending $300 on springs and being stuck with the height (love it or not) just seems like something I'd end up regretting. https://ind-distribution.com/collect...s-coilover-kit Good looking e90 BTW. |

Thank you for the compliment my friend. Hoping to get it looking even better with less Gap. I think I like the car 10 times more when it’s lowered.
Those adjustable springs seem to be the answer. I wonder how many times it will need to be adjusted, to look even all the way around. I’ve never had coil overs on my cars. So never had to adjust a suspension. |

I'm actually going against my past direction this time around. I opted w/ Swift Springs and a set of Bilsten B8 struts/shocks. I actually was a firm believer in coils w/ my past cars but ended up finding a height i was happy with and never really touched them again. This plus never getting around to tracking my car I just felt that extra money would go great on other mods or maintenance.

If I go with the adjustable springs, or eibach. Will I need to change my shock setup?
The bilstein EDC is big $. If I can do just the springs. That would be easier on my wallet. |

Those Interlagos E90's are great examples of a nice ride height.
The forum consensus will probably tell you that only a spring setup is doable however will eventually catch up to your stock shocks/struts in terms of premature failure....even more so if you're in the higher mileage range. |

I have the Eibach springs, I parked next to an E90 ZCP at the grocery store awhile back, my car sat a bit lower - my eyes could definitely see a difference. Eibach claims .8 inches lower up front, that's 20mm lower than stock while ZCP is 10mm lower. Mine actually settled closer to an inch up front, the back a little less. |

ZCP is pretty close but the eibach front springs drop it a tad lower. The rears aren't much change.
Here is the Eibach Pro-Kit front drop.

I don't want to really ticker with my suspension either honestly, but if you had the choice would you go a tad lower if you could? |

No, I wouldn't want it any lower, personally. I'm trying to retain an OEM+ look, and I enjoy having stock ride quality. Perhaps if I had aftermarket wheels I'd want it a hair lower |

What was the spec on this car? We've had someone fit Eibach Pro springs recently on the UK forum, but the rear dropped a lot. The rear wheels are slightly within the arches so I'm trying to determine if this is common with the E90 M3s. I have Eibachs that I need to fit, I may end up purchasing zcp springs if this is common.

Never heard of an Eibach spring dropping the car a lot - maybe depends on what your definition of 'a lot' is? These springs are quoted at .8 inches front & .6 inches rear, and that's where they settled. Which is about double what a ZCP spring lowers the car from Non ZCP (.8 inches = 20mm, ZCP is 10mm lower). Still wouldn't call it really low. |
