Rear seat delete
Been looking for a rear seat delete kit or the brackets people have been using to build their own.
Would anyone have suggestions as to where this can be purchased or sourced. Thanks in advance Darren

I built my own using some 3/16" plywood and some 1"x2" as braces then wrapped in black carpet. I have zero carpentry skills and just winged it.
Bottom is in two pieces that lock together (making it easier to remove) and the rear is a solid piece with some brackets I made that line up with the oem seat clips to hold it in place. To drop the panel I just go in the trunk and hit the rear seat release and then I can pull the panel out. Finished off the back of the console by using the air vents from an e90 and modifying them a bit. The e92 vents had Nothing fancy but gets the job done and looks clean. Easy to remove for track days. Total cost to build is under $100

I used felt and some 2" polypropylene foam. Very lightweight and blocks noise coming from the trunk. The downside is you can't really rest something of weight against the backrest. That can be solved by adding some supports or backing.
