Code Out Modules Question

Anyone that's familiar with coding, do you need to have the module you're intending to code out plugged in and present before coding off?

If I recall, EDC and TPMS you unplugged them and then deactivated.

I'm looking to eliminate:
CCC
Sunroof
Windshield washer
Driver wheel airbag
Driver seat belt (light and tensioner)

Thx!

😅 Thx. Of course I ask this after I've already tossed most of those modules…

When removing the rear seatbelt modules, you think those need to be coded out as well? I'd like to have the car stripped to minimum.

yes what ever sensor you have thats plugged in the car will still read the sensor. so you will have to physically remove it / unplug it

Interested in how you remove the warning on the dash for low windshield washer if you figure it out!

I got the reminder it's low / empty perpetually. Eventually removed the reservoir and lines all together.

Still need to figure out the coding… Going to download NCS soon

Wonder if you can just bridge the sensor wires similar to pad sensors.
