Not too shabby, but price is absurd.

I almost bought a MR on FR E90 M3 slitktop with no-nav... now THAT was rare.

It was sold for 43k I believe and 22k miles. Slick top, DCT, Nav and carbon trim.
My 2011.75 is melbourne red w/the fox red/black interior, but I have a 6MT, no nav, though I do have a sunroof...damn premium package... 40k miles now w/BE bearings in her (for about 4k of those miles) and running smooth! Euro delivery 8/2011 with my wife and a good friend (3rd ED for us). As far as I know I'm keeping her for the foreseeable future. She hardly gets driven now that I'm in the DC area and have a short commute.

We have the same build except mine is interlagos blue. I love the two tone interior and no nav.

I didn't do ZCP though. I know, what was I thinking?

I test drove an MR stripper before I bought my e92. In the end, I just didn't dig the color .. to orange-pinkish for my taste, and when the sun hit it, it really didn't do it for me. I personally like Imola much better, now that would be nice individual.

At the age these cars are now I agree. A lot of the melbourne red f30's I see are incredibly dull.

The M3's that are well cared for however have a beautiful metallic flake with a deep red glow in the sun. It's stunning. I also much prefer the dark blood-red-orange tone of Melbourne to other fire engine red colors out there like the popular Ferrari red M4's.

I do agree imola is another great example. But I think a lot of it has to do with the condition of the paint on these cars as they approach a decade old in some cases

I agree and was *this* close to doing just that as we had the imola E46 AND Imola E53 X5 when I bought the M3. Just couldn't justify an extra $5k for paint...

Probably never should have sold either the X5 or E46M3, but life moves you to do odd things sometimes...<sigh> I need some mulligan buttons or do-over button for my decision making it seems...

I like the E90 in Melbourne Red, but I don't think the color looks right on newer cars. Apparently, the OEMs spend considerable time and research on figuring out how to tweak colors and select them for a given car's styling and lines -- I read a whole thing about how GM did it for the C7 Corvettes.

I would rather have Sakhir Orange on the newer M3s. That color looks amazing.

I agree with you for sure. But I have to disagree on sakhir.

I want a color the looks good in light, overcast, garage lighting etc.. Sakhir looks INCREDIBLE in the sun. But after seeing several on a cloudy day it looks like a rusty copper. No thank you. It does have tons of character which I love. But just doesn't change the right shade of orange for me.

My favorite red all time is mclaren volcano red.

They are out there it seems. Not sure why people don't list on cars/autotrader but I have been able to find several on random craigslist locations in major cities.

This one in San Antonio looks decent but only 2 pics. Seems like a great deal though for a manual MR E90 slick top.

That's a nice find...I would be all over it if ZCP, even for additional cost.

Actually just came across a new upload to cars.com that has 62k mikes and ZCP. Looks to be great as well.

That looks similar to the one posted by Kevin on page 1 from CL...wonder if it's the same and being resold already?
