BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 5,500.00

Item Interest
Hey guys, starting to return car to stock so Supercharger is the first thing I want to get out there. Going to be uninstalling in the coming days, and I am considering taking a deposit prior to removing. Blower was rebuilt by Vortech as preventive maintenance maybe 18k miles ago. Oil cooler was upgraded, and the Tial bov might be spoken for. If so I will be including the original valve that came from VF Engineering.

A friend of a friend’s uncle saw one of these sell for $3.50 (not naming the source) so I stand firm at $3.75 shipped, cash in hand

There is already a full price offer. I’ll top that and go $6.

You’re third in line. If the sale to my_e92_is_blue falls thru and if I can’t come up with the money then you’ll have a shot to buy it

My price is my price, zero desperation or need to sell. I've already had a couple pm's along the lines of ...what's the lowest price you will take? type of thing.
If I do not get my price I will pack this kit away in the garage for my next E9X M3.

I can ship, but it will take a decent size box or boxes, and a ton of good packing materials to keep everything safe in transit.

Why was it rebuilt 18k miles ago and what is the total mileage on the kit?

Was rebuilt as preventive maintenance. As in freshening up components to prevent against any sort of failure. I would rather pay a few bucks now to prevent a whole bunch later.
Along the same lines as the rod bearing service S65 owners perform.

Butt dyno, haha. Whatever hp claims VF makes Im going to believe. HP aside, the increased TQ is what really makes supercharging worth it. E9X M3 never going to be as torque-y as the F8X, but it absolutely wakes up the sleeping V8.
