Bumper Solutions - Ricky Bertel
I was referred to Rick here by Son Tran, someone I trusted to do my wheel repairs for years. Son has never disappointed me when it comes to his work. So I asked him if there was anyone around who can do key scratch repairs and he recommended Rick. Long story short, Rick and I setup an appointment where he would work on my M3 at my workplace in the morning. He took about an hour to do the rear quarter panel and it looked good AT THE MOMENT IN THE SUN.
The paint looked like it matched well to the rest of the car, however later on in the day the paint looked obviously off color in the shade with a yellowish tint. Safe to say I called Ricky at that very moment and he told me to wait 3 days to let the paint dry. I called him after a week of letting the paint dry. He texted me he would be on vacation until August 15. I have tried his work and his cell number along with several texts numerous times after that date. It feels like this guy just completely ignores me reaching out after he was done with his inadequate job. I have tried over a month to reach him, but he won't respond to anything. I have read on Yelp the only way to make him respond is through something called BBB. Can anyone help? Pics below. |

Update.
I was finally to reach Ricky and he agreed to colormatch the rear panel which would require a sanddown and reapply the clearcoat next week. I will update once he is finished next week. |

I've worked with Ricky. IMO he's a really good guy and worked on my M3 and did a great job. Paint match is probably one of the hardest, I'm glad that he's coming to fix your car, that is the MOST important thing. I've talked a lot with Ricky and he values his time with family so I'm sure the summer months are the hardest for him. This is no excuse, just what I know. Hope everything gets fixed for all.
