1200 mile service in Austin
Just took my car in for service today at 1150 miles. Everything was in stock and the whole process only took 2 hrs. I actually stuck around and waited at their new waiting facility. Totally magnificent. For those of you in and around the Austin area and is concerned about your 1200mile service, don't worry anymore. These guys will get you in and out in no time.

No kidding, the lounge is huge, wireless, workstations, cafe, nice mid-century furniture and has it's own theatre. Penske did a great job improving this dealership.

Great to hear they aren't having the same issue as some of the other dealerships around the country. No wonder they're ranked the top dealership in the nation for service. That movie lounge is awesome for waiting.
Now I just have to drive around the lake 20 or 30 times to burn through my break-in. -Keith |

We've got it pretty good in Austin, great roads in easy reach. Poor guys in Houston and Dallas gotta do laps around 610 or 635.

Yeah, I'm kind of bummed though. I used to work downtown and got to drive the fun part of 2222 every day. Now I get stuck on 183.
Oh well. The good thing is that every road is better in the M3. -Keith |

I will be sure to go to the dealer in Austin for 1200 service
I will be moving from El Paso, TX up around in that area between July and Aug I am in the military and will be stationed at FT Hood, TX about 45 minuts from Austin. I was wondering what would be a good BMW dealer in that area. I have to pick up my M3 up From the Port in Bruinswick, GA. sometime in late July hopefully and drive it back to TX. and straight to the dealer for a 1200 mile or a little bit over service . Thanks for the good info.
