Inner tie rod specs?

Been looking to get new inner tie rods, since one of the two on the car is slightly bent and I'm upgrading to SPL rod ends.

After researching, it seems like the smaller end that goes into the rod ends is M14x1.5, and the side going into the steering is M18x1.5

However I'm seeing multiple spec for lengths, rods from various manufactures that claims to be compatible is anywhere from 265mm-292mm, and a few with unknown length...and some state it's compatible with all E9x 3 Series not just M3....:mad0259 :

Any idea on what's a compatible size for our cars?

I'm looking for a set as well to do front suspension refresh. No luck so far, this part has also been discontinued from Lemforder. Recently I have watched a video from Evolve where they refreshed the front end suspension of their blue M3 and TRW JAR1071 inner tie rod was used. Went on the website to verify the fitment but the m3 wasn't listed. I guess I have to bite the bullet and get a set from bmw.
