Rod bearings Southern NH / MA Area

Anyone know any shops that have specials going on this? Don't need rock bottom price, would rather quality and reputation for quality work.

Have a few requests for quotes out but seeing what the NE thread can bring.

I got mine done at Woodword Motorsports in Mendon MA.

I was very happy with the cost (I sourced my own hardware) and the service.

It may be a little drive for ya but not too bad.

A good shop can be hard to find, they are active members here and cool people.

I had my service done in the beginning of December and it is running strong.

When I get mine done I'm gonna get them done at wile motorsports in Walpole, MA. I bring the m there for service already. They do quality work.

Look up tedward on YouTube. He got his done there. At least before he sold his m3

I talked to the owner of a shop in Newbury MA a couple weeks ago about my Step-Daughters Mini. He spent close to 30 minutes talking to me and sounded really knowledgeable and super cool.
I asked him about the rod bearing issue and I believe he said that he had done a few but I don't remember now for sure.

Give him a call and ask..

Agreed or source your own. Studentloan sells them in the classifieds here.

Agreed ^^

I bought a set of BE bearing and ARP bolts off of studentloan in the fall, which he basically sells at or slightly below what they retail for (if you can even find them in stock online).

Your original posts suggests you're looking to get it done as cheap as is reasonable, of course who isn't, so supplying your own does tend to take off some of the premium that shops will up-charge you if they supply the bearings and bolts themselves. I would consider this path forward and call around shops to ask what their labor rates and estimated hours would be.

Damn, thats a deal, I got my work done here and they were awesome, I sourced my own parts and paid more than the deal they are offering.

Shut up and take this deal before it goes up $200 like it should or even $600 like when I was quoted at a shop in greater boston.

Ya thats been our price since we have opened. Should have called for quote on parts before you called for quote to have them installed haha. Either way Jim now you know to check with us before you make you next order😉.

Auto Engineering in Lexington did a great job on mine for a reasonable price early this year.
