Supercharged - Left Intake hood vent
So with the left hood vent no longer being used as an intake with a supercharger kit, i'm concerned about water splashing over the valve cover and ignition coil wiring when washing the car. Is this a concern or has anyone blocked the vent one way or another. Will it affect heat dissipation?

we live in different types of climates obviously, so take that for what it is. if you live in a very rainy area and park your car outside i wouldn't particularly care for that...

Yeah, I wouldn't sweat this really. Most water that did go into the vent was being sucked in by the engine at speed, and even then it was small amounts.
I highly doubt you'll get anything of concern from simple gravity drop through the vent - hardly anything when at speed. -M |
