That does look a bit more purple than blue to me. Mine looks the same in my garage. Maybe you're a little color blind perhaps someone else can confirm

Under gas station lights at night it has a slight purple tint. Mostly is navy blue. Also, when there isn't direct light on it, the metallic flake is gone and it looks like a glossy flat dark navy black. Never looks pure jet to me. I like seeing mine under direct sunlight the best but in that light it is more correct to call it Jerez blue rather than Jerez black.

I think black zcp wheels look great on Jerez. But I do prefer pure black, glad bmw went with sapphire black on the f82 m3

The first two were during a polishing/wax session. At night, under lights, it has a very purple tint to it. The last one is outside in the sun. You can see more of the blue very well. I love Jerez... PIA to maintain shiny though.

I'm going with the silver ZCP look on my JB as well. I do love them with the black wheels, but I also think the contrast is better with silver. I am sure I'll change my mind a month after putting silver on though

I think JzB is one of the most dynamic colors in their line. I just bought my first M3 and it's JzB and I love it. I'm personally going silver on mine but I LOVE the look of the BBS CHR's in satin black with the stainless polished lip.... I think it's the best of both worlds and had to put that out there. It's what I'm ultimately going to get for my car.

Either way I think you're in good shape but if you're spending 1500 on ZCP's I'd check out the CH or CHR's. They look pretty slick IMO.

Off topic again but yeah, Jerez is unique. A very similar color to the Carbon Black on the e46, I loved it back then and was glad it carried over as Jerez for the e9x. It's high maintenance but smoking hot clean! Homage to its predecessor.

I like Carbon Black better. Something fancier about the huge. The Jerez hue is a bit more agressive to me. I think it's because the metallic flake disappears when light is not hitting it directly. That makes it very dynamic but it has a very murky flat muddy black/blue look to it in a dark garage or not quite yet night time lighting.

Carbon Black seems a bit more uniform in its appearance in more of a variety of lighting conditions.

This is my Jerez Black back when I still had my ZCP wheels plastidipped. Looked great and really brought out the blue in the paint

Nice! I found the link to the Fabspeed site - which setup do you have exactly? Sounds great!
