Looking for a 2010-2011 M3

If anyone has a lead on a local M3, let me know Got my heart set on white, but will consider gray and silver. Needs to have DCT.

Any one have any feedback on this: http://www.advantagebmwclearlake.com...56BE369430?id= ?

Thanks!

-Ben

No navigation, no heated seats, no Power button...

Nice low mileage for a 2011 model.

I personally would always get a model with Navigation (Tech package). Yeah, we don't get lost around town that often to have to rely on navigation function, but having the LCD screen is great since you control your stereo through it, AC settings, M-Drive settings, and much much more.

I'd inquire as to these two, with the first link being my preference in terms of low mileage and options:

Dude Ben....hold out a year and wait to see what f-body is like imho.

TT6 rumored to be putting out 450hp and TTs are so much cheaper/easier to mod for power!

You buy another e9x youll end up wanting more HP, youll spend another $10k NA modding it and even then your sub 500hp youll spend 6 months playing with it doing little mods here and there then youll be bored with it again and then youll start contemplating FI and a serious cash drop like Daniel!

Just saying...

No way I would hold out......unless you want to be the test subject for the F car. The E9x is proven and will be the lone M3 on the street for at least 2 more years. If you buy preowned you can get out of it with minimum loss in 2 years if you desire the new one. I say jump back in with both feet and get to modding ...........Phil

I think I want to keep an E92 for another two years, and then take a look at a new F

Plus, I sort of need a car . I'm not ready to make a sacrifice in order to wait for the new model, hehe.

Frank, thanks.. Will check em out!

Man that 2011 is missing a ton of options for 56k. I paid about 49k a couple months ago for a 2010 with 13k that was fully loaded. (DCT/Prem/EDC/Melbourne Red). If you take your time (I know it sucks) you will find that one gem at a good price.

And I agree with M Ryder, I wouldn't want to be one of the first with the new M, I plan on keeping my E92 for 4-5 years until I can find a low mileage trade-in, and that is if I like the new styling.

Right, its missing everything except DCT and the leather. I hardly ever use my navigation, and I hardly ever move my seats, but I do think I'd be disappointed by not having the keyless entry or the universal garage crap. How can that not be included!? Come on!

I would love to wait and take my time, but the M3 was my only vehicle, so I'm looking to get something as soon as I can... Y'all are right though - the optionless 2011 probably isnt for me.

Ben, one thing I'd point out is that the deal on a 2010 might be much better (if you can find one) given that the 2011 model year was so long with the whole 2011, 2011.5, 2011.75 thing. In other words, a 2011 is a 2011 in the mind of a dealer, KBB, NADA, Carmax, etc. and all of the values will be similar assuming similar mileage. But in reality, half of the 2011s are really more like 2010s. I hope that makes sense.

Another thing to consider is finding a new leftover 2011 on a dealer's lot. A quick search I just did on cars.com showed 20 coupes and 28 sedans across the country. That would be a no-brainer if the finance rates were great, as you would expect them to be, but unfortunately it looks like they aren't. (EDIT: rates on 2011 sedans are still published on bmwusa and aren't great. Rates on 2011 coupes are not posted but may be better since the '12 coupes are out.) Regardless, I bet you could still work a great deal.

Good luck and I'll let you know if I see anything.

I bought a 2008 M3 coupe (the debut model in the U.S.) I don't think its a big issue being a guinea pig on a new release model. I didn't have any issues with it, except for that pesky increase in battery discharge warning. So, if you can wait and can afford the 2013 M3 (don't expect to see much of a discount), go for it. But I know that since your M3 was your only car, you need something now and can't stand driving something lesser until the new M3 comes out in 2013.

Just got done checking out a 2011 w/ 19,xxx miles at Momentum West. It was in nice shape, but it was lacking the moon roof. Ugh, how can you pass up the chance to have a white/CF combo!?

I was even more concerned looking at the carfax, and seeing that it is a 2 owner car, the second of which drove it for one month and 5,000 miles... Strange.

They are asking 58.9.

Watch'all think about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SMG-N...item2c6251882f ?
