I just picked up a set of 18" apex wheels with Hankook RS4s 275/35/18 squared (4-5/32nds and 5yrs old). They are tramlining all over the place with the crappy roads here in Boston.

Would I experience less tramlining if I moved to the same size in PS4S or would it not make any difference?

The square setup along with your alignment are gonna lead to tramlining the most. If you're gonna swap over to PS4S id add an alignment with some toe in to help mitigate it.

I'm at -1.5 and 0 toe front.

I'm going to check my tire pressure too. I'm 35 pounds at each corner. I'll lower them to 32 and see if that helps a bit.

It's the zero toe in front.

Add some toe in, and it won't be as bad. But wider tires are going to tremline and follow grooves more than stock.

its having 275s up front. Ive gone up to 295 and it only gets worse lol. You will get used to it

Also throw those tires out asap, wouldn't recommend driving on 5+ year old tires

I ran zero front toe on 255 tires and tramline like crazy. Add just a wee bit of toe in.

I ran a square 275s on my daily and eventually sold them. It got too dangerous and I hated being so white knuckled on the Seattle freeways

My first M3 I ran 275 square and had a similar issue with tramlining. Current car I'm running a 275/285 setup, and that actually seems to help a little. Still can be a problem on some of the most rutted freeways around here, but in general it feels better.

Come up to Washington and experience our lovely highways when it's raining.

One of the roads I travel the most is a main artery through the city that the county semi trucks use to cut through instead of going around on the freeway. They've ruined the road.. the tram lining is horrid on my car with a 275 front but as others have mentioned a touch of front toe helps a lot. I added a little rear toe in on mine recently too.

I run 265/35/18 (with 285/35/18 or 295/35/18 or 285/30/18 rears) and don’t tramline. One set of PSS and several sets of EC Sport.

How much toe should I tell the alignment shop to add?

They added just a little bit - 3 minutes of toe in each side.
