It's somewhat rare but everyone loves it.
It wasn't my first color choice but I've come to love it! |

Its more on the rare side compared to colors like black or white.
red is a bold color, its more of a statement color. Many people like a more classy white or black look for BMW. |

Zamboni, did you not latch the hood all the way in your second pic?

I just love the look of OE 220 wheels in black with MR. Need to get mine painted or powder coated.

Neutrals will always be more popular and easier to sell/live with. MR is a great color (only 2nd to Imola IMO). I nearly bought an MR sedan, but it sold before I could place an offer on it.

It's one of my favorites for the E9x. First choice was an MR E92, but it had to have CF roof and MT. Couldn't find one in my budget, so I went with my second choice of Sparkling Graphite and still very happy with it.

MR
I had an e46 in Imola and now an e90 in MR. Love them both, though I think the Imola was my favorite of the 2 colors. Both are very easy to keep clean. It made my old guards red 911 look orange when parked next to it.

Something about that shiny red hood hump makes me feel good about driving it every time! Wasn't my first choice, but now I wouldn't trade it for any other color. Mine:
