Sounds incredible, probably the best exhaust setup I've heard on the E9x M3. Wow.

Sure thing! Still waiting for the carbon fiber glass plenum so I can dyno it all together.

Where is zen rage located? Do they offer a local pickup discount?

My car is currently located in Sacramento.

I did perform a dyno with a small increase noted (6hp). The x pipe is not available yet but I am working with them to sell it individually, hopefully soon.

Bump for any updates, definitely interested in a titanium X-pipe to mate with my MPE. I'm curious to see how the mix of Inconel, titanium, and a double forward X-pipe would sound.

That would have been sweet but I think the key to that high pitch “F1” sound is a forward placement double x, not at that rear.

What’s next, a tri or quad X design?

Yes, a single forward x-pipe design sounds great and usually outperforms a mid or aft X location by a significant amount. Dual X + dual resonators takes up most of the x-pipe mid section. It sounds ok. The best? Not sure. Curious to see the impact a multi X has on whp & torque as well as to see whether it causes a low rpm torque dip. Ideally, it requires dyno time to maximize engine tunes with this design - will this be limited to only a few tunes available for the e9x M3? Lastly, there’s the concern about quality and durability of this x-pipe. For example, the Turner Ti muffler fails badly when used on the track. You definitely don’t want an x-pipe littered with cracks! Personally, I’m not a fan of Ti with forced coloring as opposed to one that naturally colors itself with heat cycles like an full Akra Ti exhaust.

I bought this exhaust in titanium a few months back. It doesn't sound ANYTHING like the original videos. I sold the rear section off because it was way too loud with the valves open and didn't sound good (to me) paired with the titanium double X pipe. Didn't sound high pitched or "F1" like at all, just loud like a catless and resonator free exhaust. It's just an Alibaba titanium valved exhaust with custom tips. Installed a Corsa exhaust in the rear and it sounds much better but still nothing like the OP's videos. Either the videos are edited or the sound came from the temp dryer hose like piping or something else.

YES! I hate the look of those forced-colored Ti stuff.

Thats unfortunate. I'm wondering if the sounds were edited in those videos, if so that would be very sneaky. I need to hear one of these setups in person with a double forward placing X-pipe, but from the videos posted on Sal's Garage YouTube channel, his car is probably the best-sounding E9x M3 I've ever heard.

Yeah, not too happy with the purchase. It was expensive and a big waste of money on my part but the sound is what hooked me as it was completely different than any other E9x M3. In fact, the sound is what persuaded me to pick up an E92 as a project/track car. IDK if the videos were edited but all I know is that my car did not sound like his videos.
