Dam that sucks, could you still get them on tight or are they loose now? I'm getting the housings painted gloss black now so will have them off the car to help install hopefully

What is the difference between the 1x1 and the 2x2 weave. I have the OEM carbon fiber covers, but the clear is flaking off on the driver side mirror. The clear was completely removed on the passenger side by previous owner. Not sure if its more cost effective to re finish both or simply purchase two new ones. Thanks

I would guess getting them re-clear coated would be cost effective.
