Anyone know what the central issue is with the ability of Lux to fill orders?
Is the entire company one guy with a soldering iron and an ESD station? Just curious, not hatin' or anything.

We actually started manufacturing with a different facility this time and that is the cause of the delays. We have a large number of parts in production now and we are just waiting to get shipping confirmation on them. We expect to have them in stock for a while after we get them in

I understand the process of suppliers, parts and production capacity. Any estimate of order to ship (say to nearest couple weeks)?

We are extremely sorry for this delay. The defect is luckily easy for us to repair and ad absolutely no impact on the quality or performance of these lights. We are working on finding the fastest way to get these repaired and we will have more info posted up as soon as it is available.

Glad I ordered the LUX V3 before I even got my new M3. I had the GP thunders in my old 335i and was perfectly happy with it but I am amazed at how substantially better the LUX V3s are over the GPs.
But yeah, it seems like the LUX are constantly out of stock since inception, that's a good thing.

I understand LUX is stating that they have "absoutely no impact on the quality or performance" but without knowing what went wrong its honestly quite eery for us customers to pay brand new prices for "repaired" products? This hopefully settles not only my curiousity but for other customers like myself whom have waited since August to place an order.. |
