Put the M3 in the garage and the 335d was under a car cover. Not a scratch.....but thats only because I live a little further north than where all the damage was.

Greetings Everybody,

Purchased a 2008 E92 M3 Jerez Black Manual with 36k Miles a few months back. Premium package, Tech Package etc etc I think the guy ticked every option box! Decided to join the forum after ///M Ryder suggested this was a much more active place.

No modding quite yet...I think for starters it will be Macht Schnell Stage 2 intake and their pulleys. Then some appearance stuff.

Eventually I would like the VF620 supercharger though.

No exhaust? That's where most of the power gains come from without going FI.

Well the problem is the exhaust I would really want is of course the Akrapovich full titanium

Unfortunately $6000 is a little steep and I am sure used ones are snapped up very quickly here on the forums.

The vanguard system seems okay and the sound is good...any other suggestions?

Akra is solid! And $6k is MSRP...I know a vendor on here who'll give it to you for much less (pm for contact). Tune is required for most full exhaust upgrades as they remove primary cats and will give you CEL. As for suggestion, unless you're on a budget, Akra quality is top notch...I don't think there's a better option out there.

Hey all, new member in Dallas just wanting to say hi.

Just got an 08 SSII e92 with 12k on the clock. The original owner had every package added(Tech, Premium pack, Cold weather, Prem sound, 19'' wheels, etc). The only thing missing was the rear sunshade and parking sensor. Judging by the mileage, he never drove it. I'm really digging this color, it shows the M3 lines so well.

Any meets besides C&C that go on in Dallas? Originally from Houston and would like to get back there soon, but as of now, Dallas is where I will be in the foreseeable future.

Right now, I'm finding every excuse to drive this beast.
