Restraint system malfunction! err!

So yhea I am getting a message saying:
Restraint system malfunction!
Pass. restraint system.

I got it while wiring my v1 and disconnecting the battery.
When I plug in an OBDII reader I get no Fault codes. So I am assuming It just needs to be reset at the dealer???

What color wire was your V1 tapped into? You may have tapped into a bus line.

Either way, this is going to require a dealer visit to reset the warning.

I did a fuse tap so was not possible right? Already setup to see the dealer tomorrow morning.

Was that it? I ask because I've read before that if you disconnect the battery (or install a new one), delaer needs to 'code' it again to remove warning lights. Thought that was crap, but would like to know for sure. Thx.

They had to tighten / re-plug the connector and reset the error message about passenger restraint system. No coding or resetting as far as the battery itself was concerned.

I have heard if you replace the battery w/o coding it can explode? I forget but someone posted that exact problem/experience.
