ED Date of Aug 14th, I cannot wait, I am not sure why I tortured myself with such a late delivery date lol.

OP, congrats!

Consider switching the Cold Weather pkg for heated seats (eliminating the nozzles on the front bumper). I suspect the ski bag will not be needed unless it will be used for such.

i don't think you should, the cost of keeping cold weather package over just the seats is only $250.

IMO, it only helps with resale when you're as close to fully loaded as possible.

I disagree. Every time you wash your windows, your hood will get wet too. It just makes a mess. Everyone l know who has it hates it.

I say skip it unless you live in a cold, wet, dirty area.

Yea although I have two cars this will not be a garage queen and it will see snow. I also like the ski pass through. My old car just had heated and I always wish I got cold weather on it lol!

Thanks! I really wanted Interlagos, I just couldn't do the blue and red combo and then when I saw Jerez in person I was hooked.

A long time ago! I actually put the deposit down in Feb, but they had no production slots, I was able to get a production slot and the order was entered March 9th.

I wasn't going to be able to get out to Europe till later in the year (because I wanted to go for more then just a week), but I knew production may be an issue so I started the process way early.

Depends, I picked an Aug 14th Delivery date. They just started production now which is about 2 months away so yours should be in July I would think if your order was in May 4th.

Are you doing Euro Delivery or regular?

What did your dealer say, you should get it before me.

If you login to BMWUSA and put your production number in you can get updates and see if it started.

How long after you got a VIN did "production begin?" Or, more accurately, I suppose, how long after you got your VIN was it listed on the BMW website? I entered a production number before I got a VIN and got "car not found." Just go the VIN two days ago and I get the same message when I enter it. Thanks.

The site usually lags by a couple days. Dealers have the best info. Ask for the status report
Next best source is BMW order 800 number

this is true....the easiest thing is to call the customer service number. 800-831-1117.... they're very friendly there and would be happy to tell you where your vehicles is at.

i just called, and found out my car was just finished today and waitng to be handed off to shipping

Mine has been at departure port since Tues waiting to board. 3800nm at 15kts across Atlantic sure puts a damper on delivery time!
Hoping I see it by 2nd week in July.
