Anyone installed one of these? i bought used one and it came without screws, what type of screws, what size? pre-drilled holes seems pretty big like almost pinky finger size holes.

Those holes are just for access to the nuts/bolts.
Basically, the socket will go through the lower holes and the nuts will connect between the second piece of carbon/front bumper. You *will* have to drill the front bumper for the nuts/bolts. I'm not sure of nut/bolt size... but think small. You should be able to measure the top piece of carbon to figure it out. For the record, it would be a complete PITA to do on your back, especially alone. |

I wouldn't use self tap screws, but it's your car... You can access it by putting the car on a lift and pulling the front end down a bit - enough to fit a wrench in to hold the nut while you tighten the bolt with a socket.
IMO - if you already bought it used and presumably saved a couple bucks... spend the money to have it installed right. |

Mine came with self boring screws. I added some double sided tape as well to make sure I had the fitment I wanted before popping holes in the bumper.
Been on over a year and a half now...no issues.

Yep Druzzil, there can be only one buckethead human warrior, do i know you?
Anyways PM me so we don't confuse people here lol And to get back on track here is installed lip. I went with the bolts/nuts approach and had to unscrew bottom portion of the bumper cover to squeeze my hand with wrench in there. Very happy with results. |
