Had three step paint correction and Ceramic Pro applied. Had no idea how hammered my paint was as it had enough wax on it to hide most of the damage and without looking close you really did not notice.
Looks incredible now. |

How did you take out your side markers? I have carbon fiber ones I've been sitting on for months because I can't get them out. Scoured the internets, can't seem to get either the packing tape or screwdriver to the side methods to work for me. Thinking at this point I'm just going to ask the shop to take the wheels and fender lining off and unclip them from the inside.

Beautiful. Love the wheel color on jet black. I've also got an e92 M3 in jet black and your post makes me want to get this done to my paint as well!

You have to yank exceptionally hard. Especially if they’ve never been removed, I use a combination of the tape and yanking, worse that can happen is it breaks

Bought one of these streaming Bluetooth hacks after randomly coming across it on Youtube while looking at E90 videos...had no idea this even existed.

Whoa! What a difference! Did you DIY or have to pay a detail company? How much does something like that cost? $500?

My big fear is I get one side out but not the other. I'm actually considering pliers over a towel at this point.

Changed the oil. As usual, dropped about a quart on my garage floor. I've been changing oil for 40 years now and don't think I've ever done it cleanly.
Took the car for a drive to check the oil level, and had to run it for quite awhile--20 minutes--before it gave any reading. It was about 45 degrees here, and the car warmed up as usual. Just as I was seriously thinking the oil level sensor was broken it came on. |

Dropped into ACM for some coding and GTS DCT. Shifts are very crisp, and feels smoother in less aggressive modes.
