Tire Sizes - AG M359 with Eibach Springs
Can anyone with eibach springs and M359's tell me what the best tire sizes would be without rubbing? I tried to search but can't find anything substantial.

So you dont think I can run the GTS sizes with eibach springs? That's not lining up with the research I've done.
Basically it's either 285/30-19 or 275/30-19 with 255/35-19 in the front. Last edited by JoePcone; 09-17-2014 at 03:36 PM.. |

There are numerous threads on this. I'm not sure where you are researching. You can run the GTS sizes but remember that the OEM sizes are a 20mm stagger front to rear and have a larger tire diameter in the front than the rear. The M3 GTS was a special car with it's own traction control settings, a completely different suspension, etc. It's not an apples to apples comparison. With a 255/285 tires you are adding an extra 10mm of stagger which will increase under-steer slightly (not noticeable on the street with casual driving). You are also running a tire that has a smaller diameter in the rear than the front. I know that many people have run GTS sized tires with success. Those people swear by that option and I can't say it's a horrible idea. I typically don't recommend it for the above reasons. Lastly, the two tires that I like most in 19" sizes are Michelin PSS and Yokohama AD08. Both of those options are not available in 285/30/19.
So that's the long answer to your question that's been answered on this forum 100's of times (75 of those times by me)... Sorry to be snarky but I am getting tired of this same argument... Search under ZCP wheels or 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 and I'm sure you will see many threads. I know you aren't asking about ZCP wheels but the specs on the cheap or inexpensive replicas that you are buying are almost the same.

I appreciate your response, the search on this forum is terrible but in my defense..if you don't know the tire sizes then it's tough to know to search on the sizes. Same thing goes for searching for a superior wheel that is smaller in width.
