Guys just running the car back to back changing nothing I have seen 10 hp gains. The M3 is a fickle beast on the dyno. Just use the same gear for all your tests and eliminate variables.

Starting with the oil temps at normal levels, it usually takes 4 or 5 runs to peak and it might gain 1 or 2 hp on each successive run up to the peak. I've never seen anything close to 10 hp, even cummulative, but we always start with the engine at normal operating temp. I've heard third hand the Dinan does around twelve runs. If you started with a cold engine I'd expect that to be the case. Anyway, once we peak, the hp stays in a very tight band of 1 hp or so. Dave
