If you don't want the cheesy China screen you can either do a CIC retrofit or NBT retrofit but both are expensive options. The Avin units are reasonably popular because they fairly closely mimic some of the existing IDrive 6 UI while supporting Android and being much cheaper and easier than a full retrofit. Everything is made in China so YMMV.

He seems to indicate the Bluetooth audio quality is pretty good but there are some UI limitations. Better than CCC for sure but certainly not perfect.
