Latest update, Machining got delayed with machine shop about 12 weeks. they are looking at delivery at Mid Dec. Excited about getting these ready to install hoping no further delays occur.

You running stock arms up front? I have all SPL and I'm debating what to do.

I just have SPL for the tie rod for toe. But its not enough once the suspension is under compression. This is solve all situations so I like it.

My comment was directed more around whether it's worth keeping the SPL parts after adding the uprights as the uprights themselves correct everything and then some that you are normally after with the SPL arms.

I talked to Brett@Strom a couple weeks ago specifically about this and they basically just stick to OE arms on all their cars. Sounded like the only thing they typically change is moving the Tension arm to a monoball so something like the GAS option.

I'm pretty sure you'll want to remove all of the spacers from the SPL stuff when running these uprights and if you're doing that I don't see a lot of benefit to the SPL parts. Sure you can fine tune alignment but people don't seem to have too many issues on the OE stuff.

Could a version be machined for F80x calipers/rotors? or even better, can both sets of mounting holes be accommodated? Unclear from photos if they're in the same plane & the only difference is distance between bolt holes:

from https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=141

edit - if you account for both caliper mountings and add a provision for both speed sensors, could expand application to f8x platform with these & maybe F3x too..

I suspect that the thought is that if you're spending this much money on an upright, you probably want a real brake upgrade anyway. If the way that you use the car justifies the upright, a real BBK will pay for itself in lower consumables costs.

Is the pre-order still open since production was delayed?

Latest update. Machining should be complete this Friday on the 15th. Getting close. I would be more excited if I knew I could try it out right away on track. But I'm getting more concerned with covid and track days. I'll be putting track days aside for a while.

Im going to start a complete front end overall since I'll be installing the uprights.

Are you changing suspension arms back to stock or maintaining SPL? Will these uprights improve scrub radius for a larger tire?

The car currently has BW components on it. Going to start with them, do some testing, go from there.

I don't see how keeping the spl arms will hurt if you remove all the spacers to go back to the standard ball joint positions for all the front end parts. That's what I'm doing. I'll report back if anything is weird.

I spoke with SPL on a different topic last week, in talking they mentioned if all the spacers were removed and only the tapered/conical spacer is used it is within 1mm of stock geo.

Someone much smarter than I am is going to have to comment if within 1mm is negligible or not. But I'm pretty slow anyways so that's probably gonna work for me.
