Have you done front monoball upgrade in the tension arm? Strongly recommend this if you haven't or replacing the control arms with SPL. Rear arms could also be done with SPL or GC.
I have a ruleset I'm trying to stay in and part of that means no added sphericals and nothing solid. Not sure how comfortable I feel dropping the subframe in my garage but I agree poly subframe bushings would probably be a big help. More wondering along the lines of if doing new poly stuff on any control arms, trailing arms, etc is worth it.

Ah okay, makes sense. I think poly subframe bushings should be high on your list to do at some point. That being said, if you can't go to spherical, upgrading the bushing in the arms (both front and rear) would be worthwhile imo. Powerflex (or similar) would be a good choice: https://www.powerflexusa.com/shop/ca...2007-2013-1789

thanks,
-1.8 in front - not bad for stock suspension, I'll try this.

looks like a chemical stain.

No spacers, and while the perch isn't entirely above the tire, I can slide my pinky between the tire and perch. So 5" should be even better. May have to lower my ride height slightly since I'm already adjusted pretty high on the shock body. Looks like I may have enough adjustment to stay at the same height by raising ~.3", but I won't know for sure until I try to adjust the top of the perch up above the thread end (it's about a mm below the end of the threads as is).

Btw, I ordered from Evasive.
That's plenty of clearance. I ran 295's this season with my custom KW's (5.5in main spring + a helper), with ~2-3mm of clearance and had zero issues.

If you lower your ride height with the shorter spring I'm assuming it would have 0 preload under droop?
What sized wheels did you run when doing the 295 squared setup? I currently have a 5.5in main spring w/ helper on my KW Clubsports and the tech working on my car expressed doubt when I mentioned running a 10.5" squared setup. Hoping to eventually run 295s upfront when I learn how to drive..

I wonder if kw cs will take 1100 rear. Leaning towards 700f/1100r, and not keen on messing with sway bars.
Pardon my ignorance, but why are you looking to retain stock swaybars?

It fits. 18x10.5 +22 (I have the Apex +27 wheels with a 5mm spacer)
I also have 18x11 +20 that I use with no issues on either. Need -3 or more camber to get it all to fit but it works.
I have KW's with the short Eibach spring. My ride height is as high up as I can get the collar on the shock threads lol

Temp at NYST tomorrow won't be above 49f, 49 being the highest at 3pm.

Is there something I should know? I don't think I have that much experience below 50f.

You're probably running all-seasons at this point so you'll be fine.

@rhyary if you ever get tired of this forum. I think you would be an amazing troll on Rennlist. Just start a similar thread from the vantage of a GT3.

His 20 page thread on mismatched tire experiments would undoubtedly leave folks unhinged. Just saying, it's an option. 🤪

our resident M3post Porsche troll has finally been banned but I've always thought it would be pretty hilarious to open an account on Rennlist with his same username and spend all the time trolling how crappy Porsches are.
