Need pics of Silverstone e90 with EC-7

Hey guys looking getting in on the apex group buy for a set of EC-7 square. Having trouble deciding between race silver or anthracite on my Silverstone e90.

I currently have 219s in the anthracite/grey; I like them but they make the car appear more dark if that makes any sense?

I think going with race silver will help bring out the brighter more silver/blue in the car, more akin to the ZCP wheels?

Any pics of the ec7 in different colors on a sedan? Thanks

I know what you mean by making the car seem darker.

The vehicle isn't silverstone, but here is a set of silver EC-7 on a sedan.

I have an E91 in silver with the 219M on it, and I think they are too dark on that car.

Here is a pic of my SSII M3 with ARC-8 in HyperSilver (which is similar to RaceSilver)...it's a junky iphone pic in poor light. I really like the looks of SSII with the bright silver wheels.

Yea man that's what I was thinking. My 219s are dark and make the car appear more dark. I think the silver will help make the color pop more.

Feel free to take a look in our E9x M3 Flickr album below:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/apexra...40210773/page1

There are quite a few SSII cars in that album to give you a better idea of how that color would match up to the anthracite or race silver finishes!

Here is an E92 on Satin Black EC-7's pushing hard on track!

I've not seen your flickr albums before -- nice. I was able to find 19" ARC8 pics...now just hoping for a 19" ARC8 group buy.

Ah my bad, tried doing it on the phone. I had to crop it due to size limitations for uploading. Post was from cm_motorsport on Instagram. I'm too looking into silver wheels as well.

I ended up buying another set of Apex wheels during their 19" summer sale since the deal was too good to pass up.

EC-7 in Race Silver, 9.5x19 and 10.5x19 with PS4S 255/35 and 275/35-19. I'll get some better pictures soon but here is a quick phone pic:

FWIW - I think SSII looks best with dark wheels (black or mag blue). I tried a ton of different wheels on my old SSII E92 and kept on going back to black. Silver makes the color and car look feminine while black provides a strong contrast and overall fits in well with the black trim elsewhere. SSII is one of those colors that can look phenomenal when the right accents are added. I thought it looked bad with silver wheels. Silver wheels took away the drama of the color if that makes sense.

Yep, it's all subjective of course. Personally, I have never had a desire for black wheels since they may as well be featureless discs at that point. Even the gunmetal 219Ms on my silver E91 are too dark for my tastes as they just disappear essentially. I'm guessing this is the reason companies like Apex provide a number of choices!

Cheers,
Chuck
