What’s the best looking lightweight reasonably priced wheel, BUT...
I have a silverstone e90 ZCP and love the car. I think the 359 wheel is a great looking wheel that complements the e90/92 perfectly. However, I hate cleaning them, which get filthy quick with our dusty OEM pads.
Any recommendations on a reasonably priced lightweight wheel that looks great and would be easier to keep clean? I considered APEX but they dont look any easier to clean the 359’s. |

What about Cquartz? There are some threads on the subject and members say the wheels stay clean for extended periods.

If you love your car and you love the way these wheels look, how hard is it to clean them once a week? Spray Meguires wheel cleaner, wait few minutes till it turns purple, rinse it off and wash it with a brush and car soap...if your wheels are clean to start with, it should take the dust right off

Apex EC-7 anthracite as it hides the brake dust.

$2,000 for a set. APEX are probably my best option. Inexpensive, lightweight and good quality from what I’ve read.
Thanks for the link! Do you think the EC-7 look better than the ARC-8’s on the e90? Also considering a square 18” setup. Quote:

Apex doesn't help you with the 'easy to clean' goal that you have. I would go for a 5 spoke wheel like the Advan GT or Advan TC3. The TC3's are available for around $2200 last I checked (it's flow formed, not forged). The GT is more expensive (because it's forged) but there is a used set available for sale right now in the wheel/tire sale section.

I checked those out and like the look. Do you know which is lighter and a better quality wheel? Maybe the Titans since they are fully forged according to their website? Hard to beat APEX’s price point. Going to search for images now. |

The titan7 wheels are forged, a little lighter, and in-theory, a little stronger than the apex wheels. I have not tested them myself but they look good and are said to be made with a 10klb press which would make them strong and light.
