With respect, when I tried to sell my car it told me private party values were about 5K over the highest offer I got. KBB is a joke. There's a reason they don't write checks or buy and sell cars from that site just throw out bogus information to get people excited about car values. I've worked in automotive retail for 4 years now and we have every brand from Hyundai to Bugatti. It's always the same story with KBB.

i'm not saying kbb is on the dot for private party. I can understand 5k lower but 10k difference...is huge....

the point i was trying to make was for him to find me a e92 m3 08 full loaded w/ 8k miles for 45k.

I'm pretty sure e90 is cheaper than e92. Correct me if I'm wrong.

my coworker just picked up a m3 identical to yours (premium sound, rear sunshade, dct) for $50K from carmax with 6yr additional warranty. his car had 11K miles though.

if your patient, you can get what your asking for. but realistic is 46-48K if you want the car to be sold soon.

Trade + cash for a cosmetically modded 2007 e92 335i? No engine mods at all, EVER! Recently installed an Eisenmann Race exhaust...

Stock - 20,600 miles. CPO until July 2013
Alpine White with Coral Red interior...
all options except cold weather and active cruise control but it does have heated seats.

List of Cosmetic mods..

Vorsteiner V35 vented hood
OEM M3 side skirts custom fitted
M-sport front and rear bumper, CF rear diffuser
CF front bumper splitters with custom paint scheme. One of a kind. No one else has this.
Full 3M clear bra of the front bumper and 1 foot up the hood and fenders.
Alufelgen CSL's, 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear wrapped in Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear..
Wheels painted gloss black with Alpine White Time Attack ring.
Vorsteiner CSL double sided CF trunk
Smoked taillights
LUX H8 angel eyes.
Interior CF wrapped trim
Custom painted window trim and mirrors
Koni yellow shocks with HR Sport lowering springs.

Recently had the car coded to include...

Amber corner delete
Digital Speedometer
Disable seatbelt gong
Disable bulb check errors/hid errors
Remote close windows/side mirrors/sunroof
Side mirrors fold down automatically when unlock is pressed.
Disable key in ignition gong
High beams and fogs work simultaneously.
