no one will pay this kind of money for a used M3 Parting out the car will yield what you initially wanted for this car. Sell him the body kit Sell me the engine -- for my OE engine + cash and others will buy the other parts Think about it |

Parting out the car has very little benefit for me since I have to find buyers and stock replacements for all the parts as well as arrange for the labour, and then I have to go through the trouble of sending a stock M3 back to Canada and selling it there, since no one anywhere else will want it. The only way I would consider parting out would be if I could line up buyers for all the parts who had the stock pieces, and depending on the numbers I would see if it made sense. People can PM me if they are interested in the various parts and I will review that option.
In all honesty I haven't been trying to sell the car very hard with only a few forum posts, and one buyer who I actually know in person strung me along for a few months and completely wasted my time, but now that I have a replacement car lined up I'll be looking at other ways to sell the car as-is. Well ok but like I said -- you have a buyer for the engine (my OE engine + cash) and apparently a buyer for the body parts. Im sure if you list all the separate parts - they will go quick - 4.6L engine with full exhaust/headers/high flow cats, and software - Front and rear RD carbon kevlar aprons, plus the trunk spoiler - RDSport chassis kit (RD springs and RD/Bilstein struts), I can include RD sway bars as well, but they are not currently installed - RD/Stoptech 6 piston front, 4 piston rear brakes with slotted rotors - 20" RS-2 Forged wheels with titanium hardware - Racing Dynamics instrumentation with 360km/h limit for TUV approva All these parts will sell QUICK (except the instrument cluster) Trust me -- I've parted out 3 cars -- and it is def the best way to get some of your aftermarket parts money back. |

These parts would go quickkkk if priced right! I already expressed interest in the wheels ages ago... I would also have interest in the BBK, rear bumper, and suspension.

Ok I sent you guys PM's, will probably list all the parts up separately today. If I can find a local buyer in LA for the motor at the right price I will part the car out.

Since I'm a new member, I can't pm. Please email me at m3dinan@gmail.com
I'm interested in the whole car, not just parts. |
