Ok everyone,

I very recently heard that the Cars & Coffee meet can get very crowded, and the parking spaces can get filled up very quickly, especially if we show up at around 10:30 AM.

If that happens to be the case, then we'll figure something out.....No worries.

Thanks.

A Bit More Info About Cars & Coffee

I see that there are people (non BMW owners) coming from far away whose main interest is likely Cars & Coffee rather than the BMW M3 group meet. I've only been to Cars & Coffee once (October), and this is a holiday weekend with cooler weather predicted which could substantially change the dynamic of the event from what I observed in October. That said; here's how the October event worked: When I arrived about 8:30 AM, most of the regular parking spaces were filled. By 9:00 to 9:15 they were double parking cars in the driveways in front of the earlier arrivals. Cars continued to arrive steadily until about 10:00. There were lots of people milling about looking and talking from 9:00 until about 10:30. By 10:30 there were fewer people and I noticed that quite a few cars were leaving. By 11:30 (when I left) my guess is that about 1/2 the cars were gone. The photo below was taken at 10:00 (notice how many people there are in the background - the photo only covers a small part of the layout).

Calintex is right

Been to several of these and they fill up quick. Although Classic BMW is a big dealership you will have trouble finding a parking spot if you pull up late. I got there as early as I could when I went but was concerned I'd be blocked in due to very large crowds. Cold weather could very well have an impact and might not be as crowded. Only Saturday will tell.

adios

^ Thanks for the valuable info guys!

-------------------------------------------

I was 'joy-driving' in my M3 earlier, and I decided to scope out the Classic BMW parking lot.

I saw that there's another building next to Classic BMW. If I'm not mistaken, that building had plenty more parking spots. If the main lots get filled up, I suppose we can use the parking spots from the other building, and walk a short distance to C&C.

Everyone, please remember to dress very warm.

So far weather.com shows a HIGH of 69 degrees, and a LOW of 56 degrees.

It's gonna be EXTREMELY loud.

You better test my car out before you make any decisions.

Honestly, I'm having thoughts of putting my stock x-pipe back on in the future.....Maybe, just maybe...

Haha yeah, I was waiting to hear your car before I made up my mind
I am also getting a quote for the install from my exhaust guy Saturday! My car is going into service at 2PM so if y'all want to follow me back to Classic, and then go to Mexico, I'm down
