HELP with installing passenger kick panel.

I have broken 6 Yellow Clips.
I tried guiding this on (by feel only) and pushing on it. When I do that, the top yellow clip breaks. There is no way of seeing if the yellow clip is aligned with the hole.....before pushing on it. If its not directly over the hole....when you push down, the clip breaks (top one).

Any tricks or tips?

This piece held on by two yellow clip.

Taking off is easy...2 minutes....Clipping it back on...seems impossible
