PPI in San Rafael

I'm not local and would like recommendations for a shop for an inspection before I go see the car.

BMW San Rafael no longer does PPI as of right now due to on going lawsuit regarding an inspection service..

Any help is appreciated.

They have an ongoing lawsuit?

That's great news that finally someone try to get them.
I had nothing but issues with them.
I had our old X5 at them until 100.000 miles and nothing but trouble.
At one point it actually looked like they damage something on every visit just to get some extra business. They even "forgot" at the 100.000 miles service half the work necessary, like spark plugs and gearbox oil change. They offered to flat bars the car back so they can perform the missing items.
I couldn't recommend them anyway.

Perhaps
Northbaybavarien. In Santa Rosa would be a place to go.

I had an oil change on my M there and they seem legit.

Yeah i called to make an appointment for a PPI with them and the girl on the phone said we no longer do inspections. I asked why as I thought it was strange they're turning down a service and she said we are going thru a lawsuit that involved an inspection service.

I too had nothing but problems with BMW of San Rafael. I had an e36 M3 that was still under factory warranty. The window motor was going out. They say they replaced the window motor but they lied. I brought it back several times and the same story. I eventually purchased and replaced the motor myself which fixed the problem. I also had an e46 M3 that need the coils replaced. The tech that performed the job forgot to put the engine cover back on and all the nuts and bolts were missing. Not to mention they curbed my wheels which had none to begin with. I'll never go there again.

What area of the bay are you referring about? If it's the Northbay then I would recommend Bavarian Tuning in Santa Rosa. Tell Bill I sent you (Xiong Moua).
