It was a toy car for me. I also did audio in the car and 6-pot BBK for my little 71hp engine

Stripped out the interior and did full sound deadening as well.

I sold the smart cuz I got bored with it. Had no intentions of buying another car, but knew I wanted an M3 when I did. I did think about waiting for the next gen M3 and know it will be lighter and more powerful, but there is something about that V8 sound that I love. I also think the current gen M3 is a beautiful design.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, for me, I do too

. Been modding since '95. I actually have long passed the audio modding bug, but the OEM smart system was such crap (I couldn't even pick up a local radio station w/o static), that I had no choice. I opted for upgraded OEM sound in both the benz and future M3, and will leave that stock.

I bought the smart with the intention of building a super-fast mini car (was also considering the classic mini). I was going to do an engine swap, either with a N/A MR2 engine or turbo MR2 engine, but had a change of heart after the cosmetic mods were done.

Yes, supercharger in the E92 is a possibility, probably not, but good to know the option is there should I want FI. Knowing the supercharger option is there helped me in the decision to forgo the next gen M3

LOL at the worms on the GPS screen comment. Need to protect your privacy as best you can on a public forum
