Another shout out to Onsite Wheel Repair. Son Tran the magician.

I don't know what kind of black magic this man uses or if he sold his soul to get the skills and tools that he has but DAMN is he good.

I recently made a 4-hour trip to pick up a set of "mint" looking 359M wheels for top dollar in the pictures only to find out the front wheel has a really bad rash on it. Instead of wasting an 8-hour round trip, I decided to buy them and bring them to Son Tran from Onsite Wheels in OC.

We all know how hard it is to replicate the silver finish on the OEM 359M wheel and I was preparing for the worse, I would powder coat the whole set if it didn't come out to my standards but holy sh*t did this man nail it. I'm super impressed with the finished repair, I honestly cannot tell where the repair was from looking at it.

Used his services since his mobile days. He is the man to go to for any wheel repair in OC/LA.

Perfect.

Thank you for providing this. I really hate how Discount Tires customer service has been to me.

Bought them $4k wheels, first time they mounted my tires on. They tired to blame me on my wheels coming in damaged on the outer lips. I would've argued with them, but the guy took photos so he can easily say it came in like that when I didn't take any photos when I dropped them off. When I got home to examine all the wheels, all of them had mounting damages on all four wheels (after learning my experience, I'll be taking photos of everything I drop off to anyone). I then went back to them again because the tires I ordered were too wide for turns. So I asked if I could return them for a smaller size. The new size came in and they replace the tires. The wheel tech then admitted to me he scratched it and they gave me a mobile wheel repair guy. Called him and sent him messages with no luck.

At this state, it's just best for me to take care of it myself.

That's nice work! Do you know if he does full rim refinish too? I used bug and tar removal on my barrels and the runoff ate the clear coat on the face :/

Will be interested if he does full wheel restoration. Working on making a 2002 330 Cic with 17k look perfect.

Is it possible to add his contact information, or would that be against the rules?

Looks great schnellster! Glad it worked out for you.

On a totally unrelated note, doesn't he look exactly like an Asian Jean-Claude Van Damme? I was half expecting him to do a split during my wheel repair
