Supply the parts, I got a guy who can do it for you. 1k, but add other stuff I recommend. Valve cover gaskets, engine mounts, etc..

Make your way down south to go see Malek @ MRF. Make a trip out of it, take the long way and go down 1 and then get the best service available to you in Cali.

I drove 8 hours each way to have Malek at MRF Engineering do my rod bearings. Well worth it.
There are hotels nearby for approx $80-$100 per night; I drove down, stayed at a hotel, dropped my car off the next morning... it was ready for me early afternoon, and I was home that evening. Cool little trip. |
