Please don't kill me for asking this!
Hey guys, so I've searched this forum for the exact answer I'm looking for, but all I seem to find is stuff related to my issue but no answer, or no clear answer. Maybe some patient people on this forum can help me with this issue..
I have a 2013 BMW E92 M3 and the stock system only has 8 speakers, I loved the EPS system in my old 2011 M3 because it had a center channel speaker, which really added to the quality of vocals. I would really like to add a center channel to my current set up, is there a way I can do so with my current amp? Also, is there a way to change the base woofers under the seat with EPS woofers? Any help would be great. Like I said, I looked into this already and I can't seem to find any clear answers which is catering to my specific need. Thanks! |

Well there is a solution, quite a few actually. You could go aftermarket and add a center and then get sws8's for under seat replacement. I'm in the process going that route, it's not worth the EPS which is what I have. Check out Bavsound.com also for a possible solution.

If I go with adding a center channel, which one should I add? Also, If I want to add the center and upgrade the subs underneath, do I need to switch out my amp? |

I'm not sure of the first question pertaining to the center channel? When you say "which" one what does that mean? As far as powering the underseats yes you will need a amp, most use a JL Audio600/6 as a ample supply. They need good power to sound how they are suppose to, the stock amp isn't really strong enough for the eps system. This amp would even make the stock speakers sound a lil better.

Hey! So I meant, if I add a center channel speaker, which brand speaker should I add? Also, the subs, do they pop in easily to the original housing? Lastly, is it tough to install the JL Amp, subs, and center channel?? |
