Better question to ask ==> How long will it be?

Response from BO:
"Looking at your order, you went with the core route and you are currently last on the list who ordered a core so it will be some time until we get our cores back as we have limited quantity of cores on hand which have already been assigned to group buy folks ahead of you. The sooner customers send back their cores, the sooner we can get to your headlights. We can not give an absolute date of completion at this time."
I completed order 05 Jan, received BO quote 31 Dec...and oh yeah took 2-3 weeks to send invoices from early Dec.
Yet BO took 100% of cash up front

Relax gents. It's worth the wait.

I was fortunate to receive mine today and while they are an intentionally simple build, they look amazing and BayOptiks knocked it out of the park.

I still need to re-aim to completely appreciate the new projector cutoff, but it's a dramatic improvement.

Here are a few quick pics inside my garage (of a dirty car after a PNW winter test drive).

I am very thankful for this GB and very satisfied with the results. These look tits. Yep, I said it.

It’s nice to see I’m not the only one that went with 3/4 rings lol. They look amazing!

If someone can post super close up pictures with the angel eyes off that would be awesome. I have always wondered if you can see glue or exposed wires coming from the angel eyes as there aren't really any pictures online showcasing the fit and finish up close.

Hopefully these include a good enough look to show the lack of wiring.

They are amazing. My wife went on and on about them. 😎

Mine shipped last Wednesday, arrived today. No glamour shots yet, but I'm very happy with them! I still need to install the bumper. The lights were packaged very well. It took longer to unwrap then to install and test.

Configuration: Full DTM, LED switchback, new lenses and ZKW projectors.

I'm glad things are moving along! All the photos look awesome.

There were some orders with some rad options, please post photos, and definitely +1 if you opted for the LCI beauty piece.

Pro tip for anyone that may want to order in the future or change up their current order:

If you’re going with the round halos I’d skip the RGB rings.. can’t verify as I haven’t seen the standard leds in person, but I noticed two things about the RGB leds: 1.) they don’t look as sleek in regards to the diffusion. You can easily see the individual diodes. Kinda looks like my buddies 8 year old umnitza angels eyes on his e46, just a bit brighter. And 2.) not so sure you can get a true OE(LCI) pure white look. Mine look too blueish at R:G:B of 255:255:255. I only got the rgb so I could tune it the extra couple percentages of Hue to get them to match my new CCB 7k bulbs. Clearly if you’re weirdo and want to run purple or green angel eyes the RGB is the way to go.. but don’t get them thinking you’re going to fine tune the color Hue to match your bulbs.. unless maybe you’re running 22k bulbs. At this point I mayyyy actuallly tune the RGB to look Tungsten which should be around RGB 100:84:00. Could be an interesting look on my Le Mans blue 335. I’ll probably run for one day ubtil the novelty wears thin..

Can anyone with the standard round rings confirm any of this? Just going by pictures and the look more OE in their diffusion/continuity and match LCI hue/color temp. Are they the same number of diodes? Same ring material/thickness??

I do, however, like the daytime demon eyes in RGB. Was able to get a blue that more or less looks like Le Mans blue.

Pro tip number 2 — if you have a shop install these headlights tell them to make doubly triply quadruply sure the headlight is installed in correct alignment with the bumper. Tell them they’ll be taking the bumper off again if it’s not perfect. Mine is off enough to be an irritation, noOCD. Shoulda done this one myself.

I emailed them Monday morning about a shipping date and still haven't heard back. Two months with no communication is getting a little frustrating.

I emailed Bayoptiks last week Thursday and received the following response from them on Friday "Yours are in the queue - we have slowly been receiving cores back as we limited core inventory. Your set has already been disassembled/painted. We are anticipating to wrap them up by the end of next week". I opted for the core exchange option and plan on swapping my headlights the same day has received to help speed up the process. Crossing my fingers they follow through and finish up by the end of this week.

I received an update today as well. As it turns out I emailed them using an email they don't frequently check. My bad. I was given a tentative ship date at the end of next week. I can't wait!

This is looking good guys! Big project with a lot of individual/custom options.

Where are we on the list? 50% or more completed?
