The reason why people keep ragging on you is your attitude about the whole thing. Words like "accidents happen" make it sound like it's no big deal and you all just made a mistake while doing everything right.
Problem is this was someone taking a shortcut and compounding that shortcut by taking another. If it's true that Jordan checks every wheel being shipped (which I highly doubt) then it's even worse these wheels were allowed to be shipped.

As for the spotlight you say you're under....that's of your own making. You guys post and advertise like mad. You put you faces and images out there as well, which shows a lot of ego. What other company does that? You make claims about superiority constantly. AND, you charge a premium price for all of this. That alone requires a ligher level of product and customer service.
Now that we all know your wheels are made by the same people that makes everyone else's wheels that premium price means more. You're charging a lot for you designs but that isn't enough. Don't just speak of being superior, be superior. Every wheel!

If we've heard of 2 so-called mistakes, I'm sure there are others. Not everyone posts on forums.

But you guys have promised much and you charge accordingly. I have no problem with that. But when the occasional problem does happen, don't delay in correcting it. Don't make excuses. Don't point fingers at others. Just take care of it quickly. Don't behave like one refund or replacement is going to break your company. You charge too much to act like skin flints.

If you're going to talk big, be big.

Tony135 was a Root Cause determined for this incident? Was corrective action taken? Did you alter anything at your company to prevent recurrence?

As a quality professional, I am curious? If it was, you could just share it with everyone.

"Accidents" don't happen if the processes and procedures of your production are followed. A non-conformance to your process clearly occurred, identifying that and correcting it to prevent further nonconformities is what every company in the world does.

I think you will find what I am saying makes sense, the world allows people to take accountability and move on. So far you have not done that.

Great looking wheels!

Unfortunately, for the price, I would go with a reliable and proven racing wheel company such as BBS, HRE, NEEZ, etc.

We are constantly working on improving our product. THese are some of our older orders and we've already improved upon that, but we're going to be debuting some big things at SEMA. Stay tuned!

I've seen OEM wheels crack. My buddy's wheel on his C5 vette cracked but the wheel was about 9 years old. It happens. But a brand new wheel? I can never trust these new forged wheel start ups. And drilling extra holes in the center of the wheel to save weight? I could see that being true but the holes are right next to each other?

I can accept that a company makes mistakes, its life. Is at that point where a company either shines or fails. And ADV1 saying that wasn't a mistake and saying it was supposed to save weight...means ADV1 fails.

I agree w u. This case, it was straight lie and insulting customer by saying it was for weight saving.

Nope, it passed quickly. The guys who are happy with their wheels support them and the mini-furor died quickly.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
