Encore Innovation Titanium Exhaust Group Buy

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey,
I have an opportunity to purchase the Encore Innovation Ti exhaust (axleback) @ employee pricing. At this point I can only get 5 slots at this price, and will be most likely keeping 1 unit for myself. So there are 4 slots available for purchase. I believe Encore is getting rid of these because they are getting rid of their retail line on M3, and focusing their retail on some more exotic branding, and doing only custom setups for E92 M3 from now on. This is what I have heard. Retail for these exhaust was $3699 USD. My friend said he could get them to me for $1600 + shipping. Local Buyers preferred (Toronto/London, Ontario, Canada).

Price is right but after listening to it on YouTube I'm not sure I like it. Sounds a bit too thick sounding, American V8-ish in character. Weight savings is nice, though.

$1600 plus shipping is a steal for a titanium exhaust system!

That's less money than just about every other Stainless Steel exhaust brand for our cars.

And the weight reduction you get with Titanium exhaust is also a big selling point.

I wasn't even thinking about an exhaust right now, but this group buy is very tempting.

Hmm...

Hey man put me down as a maybe. How loud is this compared to other mufflers? Is it comparable to an Eisenmann Sport or Eisenmann Race in loudness? I am looking for something on the quieter side...

Judging by the YouTube video, it sounds more like somewhere in between a race and sport exhaust.

He just bought a Ti Exhaust lol. (I Wish I had known earlier & maybe we had some discussion before!)
I am gonna go to UPS store and return PMs today.
I don't have the boxes yet but I'll get estimates to your locations

I also think I can get a few 335i/M5/M6 ones, but I don't know enough about that community to go out and buy a bunch of them, haha. But just getting the word out there.

Can we do a drop ship and just pick it up from them? They're in SoCal. If that could happen, you'll get a lot of people.

From a few other people here, this seems to be a pretty loud exhaust and may drone some.

Well some of us wouldn't want that as it might be limited to only 4 more exhausts.

From the looks of this, the other 2 (including me) that are in the list in addition of Catch_M3 would need to get it shipped.

Also, what about Warranty? Their website doesn't exist so how would we get in contact in case of something being wrong with the exhaust physically wise?

That's exactly what I was thinking as ell. Titanium exhausts are known to crack. I looked up their website and it doesn't exist. Warranty information would determine if I decide to jump ship or not. If you can provide that info AND the shipping price to 33143; you can count me in.
