Windshield Damage - fubar?
So while driving on the highway this morning, something flew up and smacked my windshield. It happened really fast and I didn't see what it was. It was so loud. Judging by the damage it did, might have been metal.
Here are some photos after I thoroughly cleaned the area. Any chance I can fix this? It's really upsetting, but I got really lucky that it missed my CF roof by less than an inch. Also it doesn't look like it hit anywhere else on the car which is good!

Take it to a windshield repair place. They can possibly polish it out with cerium oxide. If not, you'll have to claim on your insurance for a new windshield. Some providers are $0 deductible, otherwise it's just $100.

I ended up getting it replaced. $100 deductible.
Can't believe BMW charges $1100 for a new windshield - wait, yes I can lol.
