Anyone using LM Ceratec or Mos2
Not sure how effective these are on the M3 but these seem to get good reviews on Amazon and on Bob is the oil guy site... Curious if anyone is running either and what if any difference they made.

you'll get varying opinions.
i use ceratec in my car at about every fourth oil change. liqui moly goes in every oil change when i'm not using ceratec. cold starts are noticeably quieter and smoother.

So each time you change oil (and add MOS2), the cold starts are quieter? Isn't that just from changing oil?

Many of those reviews are anecdotal and that is a red flag. The amount of evidence showing any long-term benefits is pretty limited. Is there something inadequate about your current oil? Do you have your own evidence that this additive is needed?

Moly is typically not an antiwear additive, but rather for friction reduction. For what are looking for you might be better served by a higher zddp oil such as Redline or importing Mobil 1 10w60. Or look into something with the Tungsten type additives such as Ravenol 10w60, which probably also includes higher zddp.
